Hibiscus Iced Delight Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups dried hibiscus petals or tea
- 4 cups water
- 1/4 cup honey or sweetener of your choice (optional)
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)
- Lemon or lime slices (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and add the dried hibiscus petals or tea to the hot water. Cover the saucepan and let it steep for about 10-15 minutes. The longer you steep, the stronger the tea will be.
- If you prefer sweet tea, stir in honey or sweetener while the tea is still warm!
- Allow the tea to cool to room temperature. Then, place it in the refrigerator to chill for at least 1-2 hours.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled hibiscus tea over the ice.
