Chamomile Tea and Flavours You Can Enjoy With It

Everybody always thinks of Chamomile Tea as a natural way to improve sleep or reduce your anxiety levels but nobody thinks of it’s potential as a base for other flavours.

You can use chamomile tea for a lot of different things but we like using it as a base to use with other flavours in cooking and baking.

Let’s look at some of the things you can use chamomile tea for and how you can use it’s flavour with another flavour for a tasty dish.

A Gentle Base Flavour to Use With Other Flavours

Chamomile is a very good flavour to use as a base with other stronger flavours. Because chamomile has a very mild and a little bit of a floral flavour it can work very well with other tastes without becoming too complicated.

With strong flavours it can easily get overwhelming or muddy the flavours but with a simple taste like chamomile you have many possibilities.

Chamomile and Citrus Flavours Used Together

The most common way to use chamomile in cooking is with a flavour like lemon or another citrus fruit. The zest of the citrus works very well with the floral flavour of chamomile tea and many people enjoy this in baking or even cooking meats.

You can use this flavour combination even with chamomile tea and a squeeze of lemon.

Chamomile Lavender Serenity: A Dreamy Blend

If you are struggling very badly with not sleeping then why not add some lavender flavours to your cup of chamomile tea? It is very tasty and very popular with many tea lovers.

You can also used this flavour in cakes and biscuits if you want to have a special afternoon tea with flavours using tea.

Chamomile With Added Honey

This is another flavour that is used very often with chamomile and many even drink their tea with honey everyday to sweeten it.

We like this flavour best for when you have a winter cold or just feel like drinking something sweet in the evenings without adding artificial sugars to your tea cup.

Chamomile and Spicy Ginger

Perfect for winter baking because it tastes like a really good gingerbread flavour! Chamomile and ginger is another really popular flavour combination that a lot of our customers enjoy drinking regularly.

This is also a good flavour to try if you are feeling under the weather.

Chamomile With Extra Berries

It doesn’t really matter which kind of berries you choose because chamomile is tasty with all the different kinds of berries. Some of our favourites though are strawberries and raspberries.

If you like iced tea then make a special chamomile tea based lemonade with extra raspberries for a nice summer drink you will like.

Chamomile and Fresh Mint

More popular with our spiked teas containing alcohol because of the added freshness. Chamomile works very nicely with mint and lots of our customers also prefer to drink this flavour combination with ice.

You can also add raspberry or strawberry to this flavour is you prefer for another fruity summer drink to drink in the hot weather.
